Kailana and I were meant to do a joint review of The Silver Rose by Susan Carroll ages ago. She has just read it and she has added her thoughts to mine on her blog. Her post can be found here.
This is one of my all time favorite series. And I loved watching how SC redeemed Simon. At the end of The Courtesan I wasn't so sure she could.
I, too, felt sorry for Wolf and I don't think I got the whole Silver Rose identity thing until very close to the end.
I agree that she needs her own website. I do know she has a book due to be released at the end of July. It's called The Huntress and the cover is very similar to the previous three, but I have no idea if it's related or not.
(I copied and pasted my response to Kailana's post)
I found a description of the huntress, and it is related to the series but so far is not about Wolf but about Catriona, she was in The Courtesan in teh council or whatever, the one that told them the book of shadows was missing. but since the book is settle in England, maybe Wolf is the hero, who knows...

Oh!!! I hope it is about Wolf!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Jenster!
If she had a website we could all send emails to her asking for a book on Wolf!
ReplyDeleteI hope it is another book related to this trilogy... I am going to look at the publishers site and hope that it tells me something!
