This week's Booking Through Thursday.
Since school is out for the summer (in most places, at least), here’s a school-themed question for the week:
1. Do you have any old school books? Did you keep yours from college? Old textbooks from garage sales? Old workbooks from classes gone by?
2. How about your old notes, exams, papers? Do you save them? Or have they long since gone to the great Locker-in-the-sky?
You know I don't think I do have any old school books or notes etc. any more. They did live in the cupboard at my Mum's place for years, but before I moved from Adelaide to Melbourne I was gently asked to get rid of them....or perhaps the correct wording is forced to remove them!
I still have some notes at my mum's house as well. Most of mine from university got stolen, but I have kept what I have left.
ReplyDeletefinally... someone else who doesn't have their stuff! I felt so alone, LOL.
ReplyDeleteMine's up here.
Stacks! I'm such a pack rat (and they're all stored in my parents' garage). I think Mum throws out a box every year without telling me. I only kept the best ones (mostly creative writing stuff) so I think I might actually be upset to find them gone...if and when I get around to looking for them.
ReplyDeleteMy mom "gently" asked me to get rid of my stuff, too. I have all of my more recent school work, though. Don't know why. Just in case, I guess.
ReplyDeleteHere’s my answer
I think my mom got rid of a lot of my early-school-days stuff, too (with 6 kids it would have been hard to store all of that), but I do still have some college things.
ReplyDeleteNo books, just one portfolio of written papers.
ReplyDeleteHi Marg - I didn't had to keep my textbooks since teachers requested to have it back. Probably a good thing, since I won't have room to put it anywhere. I do though, kept some of my notes papers and poems. I thought to keep it to remember it...it safe in my red chest box, hidden inside my closet hehehe.
ReplyDeleteHappy BTT! Have a good day :)
