You know you are reading a good book when....
Whilst there are any number of other answers to this question normally, tonight the answer is...
All I can think about is getting back to my book and finding out what happens next!
How about you? What would you answer to this question?
. . . when my reading speed nearly doubles. :-)

...the nails on my left hand get chewed down until sore.
ReplyDelete....when the floors don't get mopped and the carpet doesn't get vacuumed.
ReplyDeleteThere are two things I love to do more than anything -- reading and writing. Usually writing takes precedence so, if I dump writing to read, then the book must really be a good one!!
ReplyDeleteI forget to eat, sleep or do the laundry. The telephone goes to the answering machine and my exercise program is postponed.
ReplyDeleteYou know you are reading a good book when....
ReplyDeleteI languish over each page and each word to absorb the meaning, etc., leaving the laundry and dust to pile high.
... I want to bounce up and down in my chair because I'm enjoying myself so much.
ReplyDeleteBesides all of the above, I miss my stop on the subway!
ReplyDeleteWhen I think, "So what if I have to work tomorrow? I don't really need sleep!"
ReplyDelete... I stay up way too late to finish the book.
ReplyDelete...I lose track of time.
ReplyDeleteI get annoyed if something interrupts - even lovely things! So naughty... But still, a good book transports you. So worth reading it to the end. :)

.....I have to keep getting up to warm up my cup of java in the microwave because I forget it's there.

Lots of those sound really familiar to me too!
ReplyDeleteIf I had of had to finish this sentence this morning, the answers would have been...nearly miss the station where I have to change trains and then...close the book with a big sigh and a smile and wonder how quickly I can get my hands on the next book by this author!
Thanks for stopping by everyone.
You have to have someone forcibly remove the book from your hands so you can get your chores done or come to dinner.
