I think I am going to have to request a new song soon though. I have heard Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Pat Benatar far too many times today already!
Happy 11th birthday baby boy!
And now, instead of sitting here, I really should be icing a birthday cake, and getting read for 16 people to come to dinner tonight!
WOW 16 people to cook for, don't envy you! My boys have Guitar Hero as well but only play it every now and again, they prefer the shoot 'em up type games LOL. Hope you have a great day with your boy!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your son! He obviously has a great mom, who not only gets him wonderful gifts but hosts a dinner party! :D
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to him! I love the look of concentration, he probably didn't even realise you were taking the picture!
ReplyDeleteI do take heart that an 11 year old boy finds Pat Benatar songs good to play though! :-) Yay for the '80s!!

Hope he had a great day! And definitely get some new music - or you'll be pulling your hair out quite soon. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! I agree with Lezlie! It's a GOOD thing, Marg! Although I would probably be pulling my hair out too if I had to listen to it over and over again...Happy Birthday to your son!
ReplyDeleteJust so you know he's lost to you. It will be guitar hero forever. Well at least until the next big thing comes along ;)Happy b-day to your little man!
ReplyDeleteHope the birthday celebrations went well! He looks like a natural with that guitar. Good one, Mum!

Was your baby boy born Sept 25 also? Mine turned six Friday - and he got a Playmobil bus and train station so I think my ears are luckier than yours! My husband made an amazing electric train cake (with a Playmobil driver) and I posted a photo on my romance blog, but we brought home pizza and salad from down the street for the party. Now we're trying to figure out how to divide the tiny bit of remaining cake for six people.
ReplyDeleteOh, man, that's a lovely gift to give to a child. Though I do tend to think of this one really noisy truck we got for ours long ago. After a few hours of torture, the batteries mysteriously disappeared. He didn't mind, thank God, or we'd have gone insane.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday to your son, Marg! Guess he got the perfect gift, otherwise he weren't be play Hit Me With Your Best Shot, too many times --- think he trying to tel you something? *grin*...
ReplyDeleteI hope the birthday was great one!
It was rather interesting for me to read this blog. Thanks for it. I like such topics and everything connected to this matter. I would like to read more soon.
