Mrs Charlotte Phelan's Guide to Husband-Hunting, Rule Number One: a pretty, petite girl should accentuate with makeup and good posture. A tall plain one, with a trust fund.
I was hoping for more rules so I could catch myself a husband, but no such luck!
Teaser Tuesday is host by Miz B at Should Be Reading. Head on over to find out all about it, and how to join in!
What about plain and petite? Do we just throw ourselves in a river? Or slap the makeup on with a trowel and hope for the best?
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about 'The Help,' but haven't gotten around to reading it -- mostly because I am intimidated by just how much everyone else likes it! (What if I don't like it? How could I speak to my friends? etc)
ROFL...great teser! Have heard a lot about this book but have yet to pick it up.

That alone is enough to make me want to read it! (If the short plain ones need trust funds, I guess I'm out of luck.)
