The teaser comes from page 384:
Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Miz B at Should Be Reading. Head on over to find out all about it, and how to join in!
His eyes traveled over William's torn, disheveled clothes, his scratched , sweating face, and his mud-caked boots. "Ye look a bit better than the last time I saw ye - but not much."
I love the bookcover (the colors so beautiful) of ECHO. That reminded me though, I still have not finish reading ABOSAA yet. I have a long way to go before I'm able to read ECHO, which I already have copy of :) I love the Outlander series!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading ECHO!
I wonder how he looked before! Here is my teaser for this week.
ReplyDeleteDare I say it? I have never read any of Diana Gabaldon's books... I really look forward to your thoughts about the famous Outlander series!

I come across her books quite often while working - because her books take up a LOT of space!! I've never read her though but I might give her a go some time although I'm slightly adverse to fantasy.
ReplyDeleteI am soooo behind in this series. I have them all, just haven't gotten to a couple of them. Oops...
ReplyDeleteThe Search

Good one! I loved how she threw William and Ian together. We'll have to talk about this one when you finish it!
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of the Outlander series, but your teaser and that cover made me immediatly go to Amazon and look it up. Very interesting.

How bad did he look before?!
ReplyDeleteWonderful books - I still remember how much I loved Cross Stitch. Haven't read the last couple though.
ReplyDeleteI am a total HOSER! (If you have ever visited the Ladies of Lallybroch site, you'll know it's someone obsessed with the Outlander series!) I have read thru the series twice and about to start my third run through. I'll be curious what you think of Echo!

Lisa, I am a hoser from way back, although to be fair I mainly hang out on the Reader's Rec board these days.
ReplyDeleteCat, I recently reread Cross Stitch and it hadn't lost it's magic for me.
smellincoffee, it definitely wasn't good before if my memory serves me correctly.
Sablelexi, I hope you will give them a go. Start with the first book, Outlander.
LadyQ, I would love to chat about this one when I finish. I often feel like I am bursting with the need to discuss further when I do finish one of her books.
Elysium and Heather, this book has been sitting on my bookshelf for the best part of a year so it is nice to finally be reading it.
Mae, I wouldn't necessarily call them fantasy novels. Yes, there is timetravel, but it really is the mechanism to get to the historical elements of the novel. If I HAD to label them I would probably call them Historical Fiction with very strong romantic elements, and a twist of time travel. Having said all that, I am not sure that they are your type of book!
Thanks everyone for stopping by.
