The teaser comes from page 150:
I put the diary down for a moment and close my eyes. I see that girl, too. In my mind. I hear her voice. And I want her to tell me the rest of her story.

I really enjoyed The Winter Rose, perhaps I should look at this. It's difficult finding just the right book for across country flights!
ReplyDeleteI took my e-reader and read that on the way over, but I started this during take off with the intention of just reading it for 10 minutes, but just kept on going with it for the next 4 hours!

I really, really liked this book, but a couple of my friends hated it! It was the first book of hers that I've read, but I want to read the Rose books! Here's my Teaser from Firelight.
ReplyDeleteThat is good. I'm not sure that I've read her before. I'll have to take a look.
ReplyDeleteMy teaser for today is from How to Wed a Baron.
Hi Marg,
ReplyDeleteGreat teaser lines, I was intrigued to know more. I had to visit Amazon to read the full synopsis, so that I could put the lines into context.
This is not an author I am familiar with, but definitely wouldn't mind trying this book sometime.

ReplyDeleteOh, excellent. :) A mark of a good book is that the characters really seem alive.

Great teaser! I love stories within stories and this sounds like a book that got just that(I'm guessing she is reading someone's diary?).
