Teaser Tuesday: The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson

Every now and again I start a book that makes me regret the fact that I need to sleep, and where the day job gets in the way of my reading time. The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson is one of those books! I had previously only read one book by her, but I am quite prepared to declare that I am heading towards fandom with this book!

My teaser comes from page 188

Boo walked me to the door and out into the hall while Stephen got his coat and keys.

"I'm not one hundred percent sure that was a good idea," I heard Callum say.

    It's always great to be that absorbed by a book. Last I felt like that was when I was reading The Dreamer by Pam Munoz Ryan and Peter Sis. Truly riveting.

    Hm. I've wondered about this book. I bought one of the authors other books and thought it was just very poorly written, so I haven't wanted to pick up another.

    BUT the premise of this sounds good, and that teaser is great!
