Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Marg from The Adventures of an Intrepid Reader that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!
Another week - some more loot! And a couple of these are books I am really excited about reading!
Here's my loot
Moving Pictures by Terry Pratchett - I borrowed this from the library because it is the next book in my chronological read of the series but then I was looking for something else on my overstacked bookcase the other day and realised that I actually own this book so I will be taking it back and reading my own copy!
Overseas by Beatriz Williams - As soon as I started hearing about this book I wanted it! I have high expectations for it.
The Light Between Oceans by M L Stedman - There have been a lot of positive reviews about this one and I am really looking forward to seeing how well it works for me!
Painter of Silence by Georgina Harding - This is one of the novels that was shortlisted for the Orange Prize and it sounds like something I might like.
A Lady Never Surrenders by Sabrina Jeffries - The next book in this series.
Manu's French Bistro by Manu Fiedel - I have been meaning to borrow this book for a while now. Given that Karen from Bookbath and Tamara from have now confirmed that they will be running Paris in July again this seemed like the perfect chance to have a look at this book!
