I was all organised to go bookwise. I had my bookclub book all ready to go as my take off and landing book, and my ereader all loaded up with several books that I need to read. Turns out that the plane flight was the only time when I did actually get to read. I was too busy to read the rest of the time.
Here's my weekend in pictures, some of which have already been seen on Instagram and Twitter:
The birthday dinner! I was so full after the starter and these two courses and there was still the awesome birthday cake that my very talented sister made.
We have hired cars before in various places, but this was the first time I had seen of these stickers
Clouds
Off to the footy!
Whoops! This isn't supposed to happen before the players run through the banner!
It was a pretty good weekend, and there are still plenty of people that I would have liked to see but didn't get to see! Maybe next time.

It looks like you had a great time! I love the "drive on left" sticker. I would need that! Growing up in the US, I don't know that I could re-wire my brain to drive on the left side. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by TIMELESS DESIRE. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
My Sunday Post
It was a good time. Thanks for commenting Diana!
DeleteThe birthday dinner looks so good!I'm glad to hear you had a great trip. If I was in Australia, I would definitely need to be remind to "drive on left"! :-) Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteUnderstandable! I would struggle if I have to drive on the right!
DeleteAs an American Australian I have always laughed at the sign to remember to drive on the left. It has been a real problem in Tasmania with Americans and Canadians in bad accidents on our narrow roads. Looks like you had a great time. Pam
ReplyDeleteIt is a good idea to have it in the hire cars for sure. I would be terrible if I had to sit on the other side of the car to drive and on the other side of the road!
DeleteI'f I'd have known. :( :D
ReplyDeleteSorry Sean! It was a very quick visit this time. I am half contemplating a week or so in summer, but that would mean staying with my mum which is.. you know...problematic
DeleteSounds like a great weekend Marg, I would have been reading at the footy LOL
ReplyDeleteShelleyrae @ Book'd Out
I always have a book with me Shelleyrae and I tend to read before the game and at half time but not this time
DeleteNeat photos. Sounds like a good time. I'd like to go to a footy game. Go Crows! cheers. http://www.thecuecard.com/

ReplyDeleteThe dinner was great! A bit crowded and too much but still!
DeleteIt looks like you had a great time! I am glad the Boy had a good visit with his father. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, well. He always has a good time with his father because dad is such a good bloke. **sigh**
DeleteI am glad you had a good time, Marg! Thank you for sharing the photos. :-)
