I was away in Adelaide last weekend. The main reason for going was to celebrate my brother's 30th birthday but I was also able to catch up with friends, some of which I hadn't seen for nearly 18 years, my son got to see his dad and we went to the footy (yes, I called it footy just for you Nancy!). Fortunately the right team one, although it was a very close game.I was all organised to go bookwise. I had my bookclub book all ready to go as my take off and landing book, and my ereader all loaded up with several books that I need to read. Turns out that the plane flight was the only time when I did actually get to read. I was too busy to read the rest of the time.

We have hired cars before in various places, but this was the first time I had seen of these stickers

It was a pretty good weekend, and there are still plenty of people that I would have liked to see but didn't get to see! Maybe next time.

It looks like you had a great time! I love the "drive on left" sticker. I would need that! Growing up in the US, I don't know that I could re-wire my brain to drive on the left side. LOL.

DeleteAs an American Australian I have always laughed at the sign to remember to drive on the left. It has been a real problem in Tasmania with Americans and Canadians in bad accidents on our narrow roads. Looks like you had a great time. Pam
ReplyDeleteIt is a good idea to have it in the hire cars for sure. I would be terrible if I had to sit on the other side of the car to drive and on the other side of the road!
