We had another great month in the challenge with around 50 reviews shared in October. Thank you to everyone who shared! I can't wait to see what you all share in November.
I will also be sharing the stats for October in the next couple of weeks. If you didn't catch them, here is a link to the stats for September.
I am starting to think about next year's challenge already. The sign up post will be up early in December (which is only a month away!!) and this year I will also be putting up a wrap up post for you to add your links into. The round up for overall stats for the whole of 2022 will be up towards the end of January once we are home from Europe.
This year in addition to the monthly Linky posts, I also did the stats for each month which I thought were interesting and I think other people enjoyed them too. If anyone has anything that they would like to see added to the stats or if you have an idea for the challenge I would be happy to hear them too. You can either leave them in the comments or email me at ozdiamondlil at gmail.com
If you haven't already signed up for this year, it's not too late, although it is getting there! The sign up post is here.
Just to recap what participants need to know. At the beginning of each month I will put up a post which will have a Mr Linky embedded into it for you to add your link.
Please remember...
- add the link(s) of your review(s) including your name and book title to the Mister Linky we’ll be adding to our monthly post (please, do not add your blog link, but the correct address that will guide us directly to your review). A direct link to your Goodreads review is also acceptable
- any kind of historical fiction is accepted (fantasy, young adult, graphic novels...)
- if you have time, have a look some of the other links that are present. You never know when you will discover new blogs or books!

Another great month of reading (and candy that was meant for the trick or treaters but went nicely with the books)! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteWe buy candy but don't often get trick or treaters so more for us!
DeleteI just added two books- loved the Julia Kelly book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your contribution Tina!
DeleteSo funny about the lack of an Agatha Christie review because I just finished one yesterday and am writing a review to post in the challenge this week :)
ReplyDeleteIt won't be a problem for this month then!
DeleteHi Marg, I love stats and would enjoy seeing how the volume of reviews received varies throughout the year, or even compared with the same period the previous year. Percentage of participants, the participant linking up the most reviews for the challenge, the most popular book of the month/year or most popular authors etc. Just some ideas ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracey
DeleteI already do the most reviewed book and author each month. I will be able to do a comparison to the previous year now that I have a years worth of stats!
